Priyanka Chopra Jonas (born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, India) is an Indianactress, model, singer and dancer. She is the winner of the Miss Worldpageant of 2000.[2] Chopra is a UNICEFgoodwill ambassador.[3] She has won many awards, and has become one of Bollywood's highest paid actresses. She stars in the UStelevision seriesQuantico which premiered on September 27, 2015.[3]
Chopra's parents were both in the Indian Army, so her family moved often. While she was a teenager, she lived in the United States for some years. Since she won the Miss World title in 2000, she has been in many films, television shows, and she has released 3 singles.
In 2018, she married an Americansinger-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas. In January 2022, the couple had their first child, via surrogacy.[4]
